Conference on Optics And Laser Applications (KOALA) 2008

KOALA is a meeting of the Australian OSA student chapters created for PhD students by PhD students. The University of Queensland’s student chapter is proud to host the first KOALA meeting. Even though KOALA is the annual meeting of Australia’s OSA student chapters it is open for registration by non-members of the OSA.

The conference will be a workshop with two invited speakers and up to 30 talks by PhD students. Attendees who don’t get the chance to present their work in a talk will be given the chance to present a poster about their work.
